Website Design Process

Effective: 2025/04/10

1. Introduction

1.1 This Website Design Process forms an integral part of Webluno’s Terms of Service and is incorporated therein by reference. By engaging Webluno for website design services, The Client acknowledges and agrees that the procedures, phases, timelines, deliverables, and responsibilities outlined in this process are subject to, and governed by, the Terms of Service. All provisions, obligations, and limitations contained in the Terms of Service apply to the services described herein, and in the event of any inconsistency between this process and the Terms of Service, the Terms of Service shall prevail unless otherwise expressly agreed in writing by Webluno.

2. Website Design Process: Three-Phase Design Methodology

2.1 Phase One: Initial Design and Development: Webluno shall commence initial design work on Webluno’s development environment, utilising any reference websites and website copy provided by The Client. In the absence of Client-provided copy and images, Webluno shall utilise placeholder text and imagery for demonstration purposes only. Upon completion of the initial design, Webluno shall notify the Customer that the website is ready for review, which shall constitute a formal invitation to proceed to Phase Two.

2.2 Phase Two: Client Review, Testing, and Revision Requests: The Client shall conduct a comprehensive review of the initial design and must provide all final copy, images, and content to be incorporated into the website. The Client shall test all functionality to ensure proper operation and conformity with specifications and must submit all requested changes, modifications, and revisions in writing during this phase. Revisions and changes consistent with the original scope of work shall be included in the base project fee. Any changes, additions, or modifications that fall outside the original scope of work (“Out-of-Scope Items”) shall be documented and charged at Webluno’s standard hourly rate upon project completion. The Client acknowledges that the original quotation does not include Out-of-Scope Items.

2.3 Phase Three: Final Revisions, Review, and Deployment: Webluno shall implement all approved revisions and changes requested during Phase Two and shall notify the Client upon completion. The Client shall conduct a final review and testing of the completed website and must provide written acceptance or identify any remaining defects or non-conformities with the approved specifications. Upon the Client’s written acceptance, Webluno shall issue a final invoice including any outstanding balance of the base project fee and charges for Out-of-Scope Items, if applicable. Webluno shall deploy the website to the Client’s hosting environment or Webluno’s hosting account and transfer all agreed-upon deliverables only upon receipt of final payment in full. Webluno retains a lien on all work, product files, and deliverables until all fees are paid in full, and reserves the right to withhold deployment and delivery of all work and deliverables in the event of non-payment or partial payment.

3. Project Timeline

3.1 Most website design projects undertaken by Webluno are typically completed within seven (7) business days from the commencement date, provided that all required resources, content, approvals, and information are supplied promptly by The Client.

3.1.1 However, Webluno cannot guarantee adherence to this timeline in cases of unforeseen circumstances, which may include, but are not limited to: delays in receiving content or feedback from The Client, technical issues, software or platform limitations, server or hosting problems, third-party service disruptions, holidays, natural events, or other circumstances beyond Webluno’s reasonable control.

3.1.2 The Client acknowledges and agrees that such delays may extend the project timeline, and Webluno shall not be held liable for any losses, damages, or consequential effects arising from delays caused by these factors.
